Question: What made you choose Tulane?
Answer: The academics were a big plus along with amazing teammates and a steady coaching staff with a strong winning history. I also loved the smaller size of the school and obviously spend my four years in such a vibrant city!
Q: How would you describe your transition from high school to college?
A: It wasn't anything drastic besides having to get used to not having the home-cooked meals and having to do my own laundry and dishes! But other than that having my team around helped me out a lot with getting around campus and for on the court transition that took a little bit to adjust to the physicality but it came with time!
Q: What has your transition to New Orleans been like?
A: It has made me a great pothole dodger and developed my patience with all the construction. It has also developed a serious case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) in me when I am just sitting in my room when I know there is either a festival or parade or concert always going on. And most of all it has made me realize how much I LOVE FOOD!
Q: What is your favorite thing about Tulane?
A: I love the small, friendly community and all the activities always going on around campus. Also, I love all of the new athletic facilities and the new Catholic Center strategically placed by the Boot! Haha
Q: What has been your best memory at Tulane so far?
A: There is so many! Listening to Keith Urban at Jazzfest, beating Southern Miss with Danielle's buzzer beater 3-point shot, listening to our team being announced with making it into the NCAA tourney, or
watching Coach Stockton come out of no where at a team pool party and doing a huge cannonball in all of her clothes! Nonetheless, these last two years have been too great!
Q: Where is your favorite place to go in New Orleans?
A: Audubon Park or City Park!
Q: What made you choose Business Management and Marketing as a major?
A: I felt like this major would be broad enough to teach me skills of leadership and managing a team for my future career.
Q: Do you have any specific goals for yourself this year?
A: Make it past the first round in the NCAA, getting all A's in the classroom, and starting a team bible study!
Q: If you were stuck on a deserted island, and you only had three things, what would they be?
A: 1. A basketball to get my ball-is-life on!
2. A Bible to get my Jesus on!
3. A bathing suit to get my tan on!
Q: Any plans for after Tulane?
A: I definitely want to stay in the sports field, whether that be training, coaching, or going to the business side of sports administration.
Q: What is your favorite hobby besides basketball?
A: I would say anything that involves competiveness or the sun! This can consist of ping-pong, sand volleyball, swimming, tanning, card games, board games, anything of that nature!
Q: What is your favorite class you have taken at Tulane so far?
A: Probably either Fundamentals of Acting with Carl because he was the weirdest guy (in the most coolest way) and he made us do the weirdest exercises to warm us up. Or this Management Leadership class because I could relate it a lot to athletics.
Fun Fact:
I love old people!!
