Overall thoughts on Wednesday's Practice
"It was outstanding today. I thought we were good and practice went really well. We moved around well. The guys looked like they knew what they were doing and it feels like we're going in the right direction."
On having an early spring practice schedule
"I know that at the end of the [spring] semester, there are a lot of papers and exams and I want those guys to get that situated first. If anyone gets hurt, they can come back and it gives us more time to improve our weight training and conditioning. After this, we'll have until August to get bigger, faster and stronger."
On the healthy return of linebacker Jarrod Franklin and running back Josh Rounds, who redshirted in 2014
"Jarrod was outstanding today. He played like a phantom. He looked really good. Josh Rounds ran the ball really, really well. He's good and you can never have enough good backs. He's another good back that we'll have this year."
On what he had his team focus on Wednesday morning
"We started in our base offense and I thought we looked good. It was a really good practice and we moved around well. We knew where we were going and we knew what to do."

"It felt great getting my hands on the ball. Playing offense in high school, I loved touching the ball. When I get a pick, it brings me back to high school and getting that feeling of having the ball in my hands."
