“This was another fantastic tournament for Emily, who not only recorded second straight top 10 performance but was under par as well,” Tulane head coach Lorne Don said. “This was not the team result we were expecting so we have a lot of work to do, but we’ll get there.”
Alabama rolled to the team title with a one-stroke victory over runner-up, Northwestern, while Georgia was third and Virginia and LSU each tied for fourth place.
The Crimson Tide’s own Lakareber Abe claimed individual medalist honors.
The Green Wave will take the next few weeks to regroup and will return to action at the Windy City Collegiate Classic, Oct. 5-6, in Chicago, Ill.
