Green Wave honored for the seventh straight time
NORFOLK, Va. -Â Tulane swimming & diving was again honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team. Tulane is one of 173 Division I universities to be recognized for having a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016 Spring Semester.
"Our women continue to lead the way when it comes to succeeding in the classroom," said head coach Katie Robinson. "With the high academic rigors at Tulane, and how many hours they dedicate to our sport in training, I am extremely impressed and proud of this accomplishment. A lot of credit should go towards our Academic Service Center staff, namely Micahla Williams for his effort and time in serving as our team's academic coordinator."
The Green Wave ranked 38th nationally among Division I women's programs after finishing the semester with a 3.50 team GPA, an improved average from fall semester. Tulane is one of six teams from The American to make the list. It ranks second only to Cincinnati among league teams. This marks the seventh straight semester the Green Wave have been honored.Â
