Tulane Officially Launches Ready to Roll Slogan

Overview/Concept:
The 2016-17 season in Tulane Athletics will kick-start a new era for Wave Nation. With new Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair Troy Dannen at the helm, three new head coaches in Willie Fritz, Mike Dunleavy, Sr., and Jim Barnes, as well as a new baseball coach, a fresh beginning is certainly upon us. As Tulane embarks on this new journey, we are launching a new theme in #ReadyToRoll. The concept is simple – unite Wave Nation behind a single rallying cry/slogan and build towards the excitement of the 2016-17 athletics season and beyond.Â
Branding Strategy:
With this theme, Tulane will to capture the excitement towards the build-up for a game or season, along with documenting the process of the student-athletes as they elevate their competitiveness to a new level. You will see the #ReadyToRoll not only in our social media but in all our branding, posters, schedule cards and promotional materials. With this theme, we challenge our fan base to not only be proud, but invigorated about all the new things to come across the whole scope of Tulane Athletics.Â
Social Media Use:
It is important to note that ReadyToRoll still allows us to embrace the RollWave slogan that you will continue to see us use throughout the year. 'Ready to Roll' will be used throughout the entire year as a united message and theme, utilizing one slogan that allows Wave Nation to rally behind all 16 Tulane sports.Â
