
Tulane Athletics Announces Promotion of DéJeuné Green to Assistant Director of Behavioral Health & Performance

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University Athletics announced the promotion of DéJeuné Green to Assistant Director of Behavioral Health & Performance on Thursday. Green, a dedicated and highly skilled mental health and performance professional, will continue to contribute to the well-being and success of Tulane student-athletes in her expanded role.
A native of the New Orleans metro area, Green joined the Green Wave as Athletics Case Manager in October 2025.
Green holds a Master's in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans (2023), a Master's in Sport Psychology from Florida State University (2010), and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Louisiana State University (2008). She is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the LPC Board of Louisiana.
Throughout her career, Green has provided mental training services to high school, collegiate, and retired professional athletes. She has offered athletic academic support and general academic advising to students across various majors. Additionally, she has delivered individual and group counseling through a local non-profit organization, emphasizing her commitment to holistic athlete development.
