NEW ORLEANS – Tulane is excited to present the Helluva Hullabaloo Auction and Party, to be held Friday, Nov. 3 at the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life on the Uptown campus.
Tulane University President Michael Fitts, Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair Troy Dannen, President Emeritus and Cowen Insitute Advisory Board Chair Scott Cowen invite Tulane fans and supporters to celebrate 10 years of the Cowen Institute supporting student-athletes and youth success. Tulane alumna Elyse Luray Weshler (NC '89), American art historian and PBS's History Detective, will serve as celebrity auctioneer for the event.
"We are very excited to have the Helluva Hullaballoo Auction and Party back at Tulane," Dannen said. "Not only is this a fun event to attend, but the items in the auction are incredible. This will be a great evening for our Tulane faithful to fellowship and show their support for our student-athletes."
The auction and party begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs in correlation with Tulane's Wave '17 Homecoming Weekend, featuring live music, fabulous food and great company. Patrons will have the opportunity to bid on incredible items, such as experiences with Manchester United, Orpheus Mardi Gras krewe, the Ellen Show, Royal Caribbean Cruise, Rolex, and hotel and restaurant packages.
Tickets are available for $75 per person in advance, and $50 for young alumni, and will be $100 at the door. Attire is casual. To register for tickets, go to Tulane.edu/HullabalooAuction.
