Bowling Travels to Houston for Track Kat Klash

NEW ORLEANS – No. 17 Tulane bowling is set for its second tournament of the season at the Track Kat Klash this weeknd at Emerald Lanes in Houston.
The tournament, hosted by Sam Houston State, takes place Friday through Sunday. The Green Wave finished second in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Bowling Invitational in the season opener last month, just behind the Bearkats. The Track Kat Klash features five Baker matches on Friday, five traditional team matches Saturday, and a three-round best-of-7 Baker bracket play on Sunday.
Matches begin at 9:55 a.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and bracket play on Sunday begins at 8:20 a.m. Tulane's matches will be streamed live via Facebook Live.
Tulane is one of 14 nationally ranked schools competing in the tournament, including eight of the top 10. The Wave is joined by No. 1 McKendree, No. 2 Nebraska, No. 3 Arkansas State, No. 4 Vanderbilt, No. 5 Sam Houston State, No. 6 Stephen F. Austin, No. 7 Maryland-Eastern Shore, No. 10 Central Missouri, No. 12 Delaware State, No. 18 North Carolina A&T, No. 19 UAB, No. 20 Prairie View A&M and No. 24 Youngstown State. Alabama State, Grambling State, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Maryville, Southern and Texas Southern round out the field.
