
Former Women's Golfer Gemma Dryburgh Makes First Cut at LPGA Event

SEATON, South Australia – Former Tulane women's golfer Gemma Dryburgh has made the cut for the first time in an Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) event, sitting tied for 20th at -4 (142) at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open being played at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
Dryburgh was even through the first round then shot a blistering -4 (69) on the second day. She was bogey-free throughout the second round, sinking birdies on the first, second, ninth and 17 holes to easily clear the cut line at even par.
The Aberdeen, Scotland, native tees off in Saturday's third round at approximately 7:20 p.m. Central time on Friday (11:50 a.m. on Saturday in Seaton).
Dryburgh won her first professional tournament title, the Oatlands Ladies Classic on the Australian Ladies Professional Tour, on Jan. 24.
