NEW ORLEANS – Tulane football head coach Willie Fritz met with the media for his weekly news conference Tuesday after practice as the Green Wave began their preparations for Saturday's game at No. 2/3 Oklahoma.

Tulane (1-1, 0-1 American Athletic Conference | West) goes on the road to face the Sooners (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) at 5 p.m. Saturday. The game will be broadcast on the Tulane IMG Sport Network, which can be heard anywhere via TuneIn Radio, or in New Orleans on Fox Sports AM 1280. It will also be televised on a pay-per-view basis by Fox Sports Oklahoma/SoonerSports.tv. Last week, the Wave fell at Navy, 23-21, while Oklahoma defeated Ohio State, 31-16, on Saturday. Tulane is facing a top-3 ranked opponent for the first time since a 34-9 defeat to No. 2 LSU in 2007. This is the first-ever meeting between Tulane and Oklahoma.
