TULANE SEEKING THIRD STRAIGHT WIN WHEN ECU COMES TO UPTOWN
- Back in Yulman Stadium for the first time since October 20, Tulane will be looking for its third consecutive win when ECU comes to New Orleans on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. (CT) on ESPNews.
- Tulane is on a two-game winning streak following its domination of USF in Tampa on Saturday. Tulane won that game 41-15 and scored 34 consecutive points after the Bulls took a 3-0 lead early.
- Saturday's game against ECU will be the 15th meeting between the teams. Tulane won in 2017, but ECU holds an 11-4 lead in the lifetime series.
FIRST AND 10
- Tulane will look to move to 4-2 in league play for the first time since joining The American in 2014. Tulane has never won three straight games in The American and last won three straight games of any kind in 2013.
- Tulane's victory at USF was the team's second straight win on the road. The Green Wave had not won back-to-back road games since 2007 (SMU, Rice).
- Before doing so against USF, Tulane had not scored at least 34 consecutive points against FBS competition since the 1998 Liberty Bowl against BYU (Dec. 31, 1998) to cap its undefeated season.
- Tulane's rushing attack has gained 100 yards or more on the ground in each of the last 36 games and has rushed for 300 yards in back-to-back games for the first time since 2007.
- Junior Darius Bradwell is Tulane's leading rusher this season with 752 yards on 118 carries. Bradwell has scored a team-high eight touchdowns and has scored at least one touchdown in seven consecutive games. His streak of scoring a touchdown in seven straight games is tied for first nationally among running backs.
- Bradwell ranks eighth in The American with 83.6 yards per game and is 17th nationally with 6.37 yards per carry. He is also sixth nationally with 11 rushes of 20 yards or longer.
- RB Corey Dauphine and Bradwell each ran for more than 100 yards against the Bulls, marking the first time since October 22, 2016, that a Tulane duo rushed for 100 yards in the same game (Josh Rounds, Dontrell Hilliard).
- Tulane is 2-0 since Justin McMillan took over as the team's starting quarterback. McMillan has rushing touchdowns of more than 30 yards in each of his starts.
- Sophomore DE Patrick Johnson tops Tulane with 8.0 sacks, a number that puts him second in the league. He leads Tulane with 10 tackles for loss and has recorded at least one TFL in eight straight games.
- Tulane's 2018 slate has been the 12th-toughest schedule at the FBS level based on FBS opponent winning percentage. Only nine teams have played FBS opponents with more combined wins than Tulane opponents' 47 wins this year.
