
Women's Cross Country Earns Team Academic Award

NEW ORLEANS – For the third consecutive season, the Green Wave women's cross country team has earned the Team Academic Award from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association, the group announced on Thursday afternoon.
Coach Eric Peterson's squad had a cumulative grade point average of 3.54 after the Fall 2018 semester, well above the minimum 3.00 required to earn the USTFCCA's Team Academic Award.
Tulane women's cross country last claimed the honor in 2018 and 2017. The team also won the award from 2012-14 and in 1995.
