
Gulum, McCall Named to Southland Bowling League All-Conference Teams

FRISCO, Texas – After a stellar season, Tulane senior Tiera Gulum was named to the Southland Bowling League All-Conference Second Team, while sophomore Madison McCall an honorable mention selection the league announced today.

Both are receiving SBL honors for the first time in their careers, as it's the third award for Gulum this year after being named to the all-tournament team at the Kat Track Klash and KU Invitational. It's McCall's first since being named an NTCA All-American Honorable Mention last season.

Gulum finished her Tulane career by knocking down 9,294 pins in single matches this season, as in 46 games she held a pin average of 202.04 which is her best as a Green Wave. The New York native became the first Tulane bowler in program history to roll a 300 game, which came in February against Stephen F. Austin and had 26 games with a score of 200 or better.

In 46 single matches, McCall knocked down 8,930 pins for an average of 194.13, finishing right behind Gulum on the team this season. Against LIU Brooklyn at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic, the South Carolina product rolled a season-high 256, her third of the tournament with a score of 230 or better. On the season she had 19 games with a score of 200 or better.
