NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming and diving team has released its official schedule for the 2019-20 season, head coach Leah Stancil announced Friday.
"I am very pleased with our 2019-20 schedule," Stancil said. "This year's schedule will challenge our team in a variety of ways and will prepare us for the conference championship. We made tremendous strides last year as a unit and I could not be more excited to see how we will continue to grow as a group."
The Green Wave are set to compete in eight regular season meets, including one at home, before heading to Houston for the American Athletic Conference Championships from February 19-22.
Tulane's first seven meets will take place on the road, with the team scheduled to open the season against LSU on Sept. 28 at 11 a.m.
The Olive and Blue will head to Houston the following week, matching up against the 2018 AAC Conference Champions on Oct. 3.
The Green Wave will participate in the Dual-A-Palooza in North Miami, Florida, on Oct. 18 and 19, with meets scheduled at 5 p.m. on day one and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on day two.
Just about one month later, Tulane will travel to Houston to compete in the three-day Phill Hansel Invitational from Nov. 21-23.
Wrapping up the team's tournament slate, the Green Wave will compete in the four-day Toyota U.S. Open, held in Atlanta from Dec. 4-7.
Tulane will then head to Fort Myers, Florida, for the first dual meet of 2020, with the Wave competing against Florida Gulf Coast on Jan. 4.
The Green Wave remain in Florida the following week, matching up against West Florida in Pensacola on Jan. 10 at 1 p.m.
In its final regular season meet of the year, Tulane will host SMU at the Reily Student Recreation Center on Jan. 25 at 2 p.m.
The CSCAA National Invitational and NCAA Championships are currently slated for March 12-14 and March 18-21, respectively.
