Bowling Receives All-Academic Honors From the NTCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The National Tenpin Coaches Association has announced its All-Academic honorees, with the Tulane bowling program earning team and individual honors for the 2018-19 season.
The Green Wave were one of 38 teams in the nation to earn NTCA All-Academic Team honors, as to be listed a program must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher for the length of the season. All eight teams from the Southland Bowling League made the list, as Tulane had the third-highest mark among league schools.
Former standout and NTCA All-American Tiera Gulum paces the four individuals who were named NTCA All-Academic, followed by junior Isabelle Lee and both competing freshmen from last year in Crystal Singh and Veronica Petrinec.
256 student-athletes from 55 different programs were honored by the NTCA, as with the team award a student-athlete must have at least a GPA of 3.4 or higher to be selected.
