The Willie Fritz Radio Show Makes 2019 Season Debut on August 27

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane head coach Willie Fritz's Weekly Radio Show makes its 2019 season debut on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m., as it returns to Loft18 in Metairie (3128 Metairie Road) for the second straight season.

Green Wave fans can take part in the show by attending in person and enjoying great specials with free parking.

The show will air each Thursday throughout the season with the exception of the first week and on Tuesday, Sept. 17 when the Green Wave welcomes American Athletic Conference West Division favorite Houston to Yulman Stadium for their nationally-televised game on ESPN on Sept. 19. Each show will run from 6-7 p.m.

Fans can listen to the show worldwide through the Tulane All-Access digital platform, the Tulane IMG Network TuneIn app, on Sports 1280 New Orleans and on 101.1 FM HD2. The first weekly radio show will air o 99.5 FM WRNO.

The hour-long show will once again feature segments each week with Fritz breaking down the previous game and previewing the upcoming matchup along with special guest appearances by football assistant coaches and student-athletes and head coaches of Tulane's other varsity athletics programs.

Tulane opens the 2019 season on Thursday, August 29 at home against FIU with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The Green Wave are coming off a memorable 2018 campaign that was highlighted by a win in the AutoNation Cure Bowl and an American Athletic Conference West Division Co-Championship.
