Men’s Tennis Inks Luc Hoeijmans to 2021 Signing Class

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University director of tennis Mark Booras added the first piece to his 2021 recruiting class with the signing of Luc Hoeijmans to a National Letter of Intent during the NCAA's Early Signing Period.
"We are very excited to sign Luc to our team for next fall," Booras said. "He brings a wealth of national and international experience that will make a huge impact on our program and help lift us to higher levels."
In 2020, Hoeijmans earned a pair of big wins on the junior tour over Kahoun Jacob and Gianluca Tanner, who both held rankings of 13 on the UTR scale.
A native of Zurich Switzerland, Hoeijmans has enjoyed sustained success during his time on the ITF Junior tour and placed third at the U18 Swiss Championships in 2019. In 2018, he won the doubles crown at the ITF Zürchsee Junior Open with teammate Ilias Zimmermann.
In 2017, Hoeijmans claimed the Zürich Junior Championship in singles while also claiming the doubles title on the junior tour at Oberentfelden with teammate Geremia Rossi.
