SENIOR DAY: Tulane Honors Baseball's Jonathon Artigues
Mar 27, 2020 | Baseball, General
EDITOR'S NOTE: Over the next few months, TulaneGreenWave.com will honor the 35 seniors that had their respective collegiate careers cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic through this SENIOR DAY series. We hope you the fans enjoy this series and remember the seniors from the 2020 graduating class.
After a standout prep career at Saint Stanislaus in nearby Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Jonathon Artigues began his Tulane career in the spring of 2016 as a freshman. After sitting out that season, Artigues grew into an important member of the team as he played in 21 games the next season before becoming the mainstay at second base for the Green Wave. Over the course of the last three seasons, Artigues has started in 132 of 133 games at the spot, earning preseason all-conference honors this season as one of the longest-tenured players in the American Athletic Conference.
Today we honor Artigues in our SENIOR DAY web series.
