Today's incoming Freshman Spotlight features Katie Lipsey from Wilmette, Illinois.
What's something that makes you excited to be part of the Green Wave?
"I'm excited to be apart of a new team and meet a lot of new people."
Are you nervous about anything starting college?
"I'm nervous about seeing what classes are like and how they are different from high school."
What were your first impressions when you visited New Orleans and Tulane?
"My first impression when I first visited was that everyone was super nice and welcoming and that Tulane has an amazing community surrounding it."Â
Is there anywhere you're excited to go again or looking forward to around the city?
"I'm definitely excited to explore the city more and go back to Cafe Du Monde."Â
How do you hope to contribute to the Swim and Dive Team?
"I hope to get better at every meet and constantly help the team improve."Â
And lastly, something unique about you?
"I've done a sport every season of high school."
