
Russell, Yelamanchili Fall in ITA Main Draw Doubles Round of 32

CARY, N.C. – The Tulane University Women's Tennis doubles team of Charlotte Russell and Lahari Yelamanchili drops its ITA All-American Championships debut in the round of 32 in the main draw on Wednesday. The 14th-ranked duo competed as the No. 7 seed in the first main draw appearance for a Tulane player since 2004.

Russell and Yelamanchili squared off against Chloe Beck and Cameron Morra from Duke on the opening day of the ITA All-American Championships main draw. The Green Wave duo battled in each set before ultimately losing in two sets 6-4, 6-3 to move into the main draw consolation bracket.
Up next, the Tulane pair will compete in the round of 16 on the main draw consolation bracket against Margaux Maquet and Lucia Quiterio from UNC Charlotte. The match is set for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
