
Bowling Starts Season with Perfect Record at Rattler Classic

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The 17th-ranked Tulane University bowling team began the season on a perfect note in going 5-0 on the first day of the Rattler Classic on Friday at Strikerz in Pensacola.
The Green Wave posted a five-game average of 194.48. Tulane topped a thousand points twice on the afternoon.
The program started the day with an 891-793 victory over Grambling State. The second game saw Tulane earn a 1024-934 victory over Jackson State. The third game was a 1053 – 878 victory over Emmanuel College. In the fourth game, Tulane picked up the 928-772 victory over Florida A&M. The fifth game was a 966-859 win over Alabama A&M.
The program has five traditional games on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Tulane begins game one in lanes 19-20 against Texas Southern. The second game will be against Southern University in lanes 23-24. The third game is a Tulane and Emmanuel match-up in lanes 23-24. The fourth game sees the Green Wave facing off with host school Florida A&M in lanes 19-20. The fifth and final game of the day is a pairing of Tulane and Alabama State in lanes 15-16.
