
No. 17 Bowling Goes 4-1 on the First Day of the Hawk Classic

Millsboro, Delaware – The No. 17 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team had a strong 4-1 opening day at the Hawk Classic at Millsboro Lanes on Friday in totaling 4,352 pins.
The program is one of only four of the invited 18 teams that had four or more team wins during baker play and currently sit in 13th place overall.
The Green Wave posted a five-game average of 174.1. Tulane topped 900 pins in one of the five matches.
The program started the day with an 843-781 loss to St. Francis (PA) and then reeled off four straight wins to close the day. The second game saw Tulane earn the 949-893 victory over Morgan State. The third game was an 893-774 victory over Monmouth. Â The fourth game was an 864-819 victory over Mount St. Mary's. The fifth was a 865-852 win over Mercyhurst.
The program has five traditional games on Saturday starting at 8:55 a.m. The program has a positional round to start the day for the sixth match and then takes on Wilmington in the seventh match, North Carolina A&T in the eighth match, Delaware State in the ninth match and host institution UMES in the 10th match.
