Green Wave Continues Climb in Polls
Nov 6, 2022 | Football
NEW ORLEANS - Tulane Football continued its march up the national rankings when both polls were released Sunday afternoon.
The Green Wave now finds itself 16th in the Associated Press Top 25 and 17th in the AFCA USA Today Coaches Poll.
On Tuesday, the program reached another milestone after checking in at 19th in 2022's first reveal of the College Football Playoff poll. The second edition will air Tuesday at 6 p.m. on ESPN.
Currently, TU is the highest-ranked Group of Five school in all three polls.
Tulane (8-1 overall, 5-0 American Athletic Conference) is back in action Saturday at 2:30 p.m. when UCF (7-2, 4-1) visits for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff in a contest that will be carried by ESPN2. Anish Shroff (play-by-play), Brock Osweiler (analyst) and Taylor McGregor (reporter) will handle those broadcast duties.
Saturday's radio call along the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will conclude roughly 45 minutes following the conclusion of the game. 104.1 The Spot will carry this broadcast. It can also be accessed via the Tulane Athletics and Varsity Network apps (both platforms are free). On satellite radio, the game can be heard on Sirius XM Channels 113, 201 or 964. Corey Gloor (play-by-play), Steve Barrios (analyst) and Maddy Hudak (reporter) will handle that commentary.
As always, those interested in attending Saturday's game can purchase tickets at TulaneTix.com.
