
Seven Bowlers Earn 2022 Southland Academic Honor Roll

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University bowling team had seven athletes featured on the 2022 Academic Honor Roll for the Southland Bowling League, it was announced Thursday afternoon.

The conference recognized 67 student-athletes across the league's eight institutions.Â

The group consisted of seniors Crystal Singh and Veronica Petrinec, juniors Jenica Baron and Amelia Vasquez sophomores Morgan Gitlitz and Yarelis Alvarez and freshman Katharina Mente.
Â
All nominees for the Honor Roll team must have earned at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and demonstrated athletics achievement for a minimum of one year at the nominating institution.

Singh, Petrinec, Baron, Vasquez, Gitlitz and Alvarez earned Southland Bowling League All-Academic Team honors last season.
