
Tulane Bowling Add Gill to Coaching Staff

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University women's bowling head coach Haley Veitch announced the addition of assistant coach Sarah Gill to her staff ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.Â
Gill joins the Green Wave program after competing as a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University women's bowling program for four years (2017-21). During her time with the Lumberjacks, she helped the team win the 2019 NCAA Women's Bowling Team National Championship.Â
While playing for the SFA bowling team, Gill also worked with the athletic department as game day personnel. In her role with the athletic department, she assisted with game day operations including but now limited to ticket distribution personnel check in for a variety of different sports.Â
During her time at SFA, Gill displayed her leadership serving as a peer mentor with the university as well as volunteering with Bowling Special Olympics. As a peer mentor in her final year at Stephen F. Austin State University, she assisted incoming student-athletes with their transition into college. In her volunteer efforts with Bowling Special Olympics from 2018-20, Gill helped at weekly Special Olympics events.Â
Gill graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree after majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in fitness and human performance.Â
