Women's Tennis Goes to Quarterfinals; Falls short of Semis

BATON ROUGE, La. - Women's tennis advanced the duo of Lahari Yelamanchili/Kristen Borland to the quarterfinals but fell just short of the semifinals after a tough battle including a tie-breaker.

Cora Barber and Lulu Zhu also played in the doubles main draw today with stiff competition against Petra Sedlackova and Margaux Maquet of the University of Alabama, falling in the Round of 16, 8-1.

The Wave will return home for two and a half weeks before traveling to the University of Alabama for the Roberta Allison Fall Classic.
