
Green Wave Leaves Hattiesburg with a Perfect 18-0 Record

HATTIESBURG, MS - The Tulane Beach Volleyball team achieved an impressive undefeated streak at the University of Southern Mississippi, concluding its fall competition on a high note.
In a competition of mixed pairs on Saturday against the Golden Eagles, the Green Wave showcased its dominance by securing 2-0 victories in nearly every match.
Statistically, Sara Hall emerged as a standout in blocking, boasting an average of 1.67 blocks per set. Tawny Ensign led the charge in kills, averaging an impressive 7.0 kills per set. Sam Green showcased her prowess with an outstanding average of 9.0 digs per set. From the service line, Amelia Mullen took the lead, delivering an exceptional performance with six aces in each of her matches.
With this remarkable performance, the Green Wave aims to carry its momentum into 2024 as it gears up to kick off the spring regular season play.
"We are excited to culminate a very busy fall action period with solid showing and contributions from our entire roster," said head coach Eyal Zimet. "I am proud of our squad's progress on and off the court over this semester. I can't wait to see how far we can continue and grow.
