
Golf Sits Tied for Third After Round One of The Tulane Classic Presented by Chad Brownstein

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf sits tied for third place after the first round of the Tulane Classic Presented by Chad Brownstein.

Purdue leads the field shooting 11-over as a team, UTEP is second shooting 18-over and Southern Miss is tied with Tulane at 21-over.

Carla Bernat and Miriam Emmert led the team both shooting 76 in round 1, tied for 12th in the field. Bernat nabbed three birdies on the day with Emmert draining one.

Matilde Innocenti had the third best card for Tulane on day one, shooting 6-over. Cleo Liu shot 7-over, and Carlota Palacios shot 13-over.

The Green Wave will tee off at 9:40 tomorrow and look to make up some ground on the leaderboard.
