
Borland Named Academic All-District

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane junior Kristen Borland was named Academic All-District on Thursday.

The Toronto, Ontario, Canada native was victorious in a combined 13 singles and doubles matches this spring and helped lead the Green Wave to seven team victories. Tulane played eight ranked teams in the spring and Borland won three of her four contests (the other was unfinished) in triumphs over #69 North Texas (4-0) and #62 Wichita State (5-2).

In the classroom, she carries a cumulative GPA of 3.784 and is majoring in Finance and Legal Studies.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 1.
