
Women’s Tennis Finishes Strong in Regional Rankings

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane's women's tennis program wound down the 2022-23 season with top 10 ITA Southern Regional rankings in both the doubles classification and team standings.

The Green Wave's #1 doubles team of Lahari Yelamachili and Charlotte Russell finished fifth, while, as a team, Tulane finished eighth.
Â
Yelamanchili and Russell collected nine wins together, including three consecutive victories to close the season.
Â
As a team, Tulane was victorious seven times and posted top-70 victories over #62 Wichita State (5-2) and #69 North Texas (4-0).
