Beach Volleyball Hires Cassidi Stabile as Assistant Coach
Jul 10, 2023 | Women's Beach Volleyball
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University beach volleyball has added Cassidi Stabile to the coaching staff ahead of the 2023-24 campaign. Stabile will serve as the assistant coach for the Green Wave.
Â
Stabile joins the Wave after one season as the head coach for the Central Arkansas beach volleyball program. She led the Bears to an 8-20 overall in her lone season in Conway, Arkansas.
Â
Prior to her one season at UCA, Stabile served as an assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin in 2021-22.
Â
She joined the Lumberjacks following three years as the assistant coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College. Stabile specialized in offense and blocking for the indoor volleyball program with the Spartans.
Â
Her coaching journey began with the collaboration and creation of the first beach volleyball club in New Mexico, New Mexico Premier. Stabile spent 12 years coaching girls from ages 12 to 18 in both indoor and beach, sending many to AAU, USA, and BVCA Nationals.
Â
Stabile, a New Mexico native, started her volleyball career at La Cueva High School. After playing a year at Florida Institute of Technology as right side and middle, she made the switch from indoor to beach, competing in tournament across the country.
Â
The Green Wave beach volleyball program will return to the sand this fall after posting a 24-10 record in the spring including three wins over ranked opponents. The 24 victories matched a program record for wins set in the 2022 and 2017 seasons.
