COMPLETE RESULTS
DALLAS – Victoria Raymond continued her fantastic 2023-24 campaign Sunday by capturing American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors on the final day of the league's championship meet in Dallas.
Raymond set two more school records Sunday, winning gold in the 200 Fly (1:56.78) and silver in the 200 Back (1:56.55). That, along with a silver-medal performance in Saturday's 100 Fly, set her up nicely to win the conference's rookie award.
Tulane scored 58 points in the 200 Back alone as Quinlan Hinerfeld (4th, 1:58.08, 15 points), Andrea Zeebe (5th, 1:58.85, 14 points) and Grace Dale (7th, 2:00.29, 12 points) complemented Raymond's performance in the A Final with fine swims of their own. Dale (1:59.39) also set a lifetime-best in the prelims for the event, while Zeebe's prelim mark (1:58.77) landed eighth on the school's all-time list (National Invitational Championship bonus cut).
Paula Gaya Bisquerra's lifetime-best time of 2:21.36 in the 200 Breast prelims is ninth in the school's all-time top 10.
Olcaytu Hatipoglu had a lifetime-best swim of 51.47 in the 100 Free prelims, while Eleanor McMeen also had a personal-best swim of 52.56.
In the team standings, the Green Wave finished sixth with 379 points.
