What's Coming to Yulman Stadium This Season!

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane Football season-opener is just eight days away and that will bring several new and exciting gameday experiences for Green Wave fans this fall at Yulman Stadium. Several fan favorites will also remain for the 2024 season.

Check out the list below to see what the Tulane faithful can expect to see on their gridiron trips this season! Don't miss the reminders section either so you have a seamless day at the stadium!

TICKETS
Tickets for the upcoming season can be purchased by calling 504-861-WAVE (9283), logging on to TulaneTix.com or visiting the ticket office at the James W. Wilson Jr. Center.

GAMEDAY CENTRAL

TAILGATING

CONCESSIONS
Tulane and new dining partner Aramark have made a seven-figure investment to improve the gameday concessions experience. So get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a diverse range of new brands.

From New Orleans native Chef Dook Chase, Aramark brings you Dook's Burgers and Dook's Tackle Box in section 125, serving locally caught seafood. Fans can also enjoy The Frozen Wave by Fat Tuesday at section 125, UPTOWN Tenders at 118, Reginelli's Pizza in sections 103 and 111, and Superior Margaritas throughout the stadium. And that's not all! Guests in the concourse can also savor the flavors of Dat Dog at sections 101 and 118, Blue Oak BBQ on Westfeldt Terrance, and local favorites like Plum St. Sno Balls and Meyers Lemonade return to section 104.

Visit the new markets located at section 101 by Gate C, sections 105 and 206, and the expansive Hullabaloo Market, featuring craft & draft selections, fan favorites, Roberts jambalaya, muffulettas, and much more.
For your convenience, over 20 additional Portable locations have been added. These include Walk Thru Bru, GreenWave Classics Express locations, and Craft & Draft carts are strategically located throughout the concourse for easy access.
As part of Aramark's commitment to local culture, the Westfield Terrace Bar has been refreshed. Now, in addition to cocktails and draft beer, selections include local craft beers, celebrating the rich brewing traditions of our community.

GIVEAWAYS and PROMOTIONS
There are premium giveaways scheduled this season to thank fans for their support of Green Wave Football.

Aug. 29 vs. Southeastern LA – Uptown Kickoff
Celebrate the start of college football in Louisiana with the first ever Uptown Kickoff game. The first 5,000 fans will receive an Uptown Kickoff can koozie.

Sept. 7 vs. Kansas State – Yulman Stadium 10th Anniversary
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first game in Yulman Stadium. The first 10,000 fans will receive a commemorative Yulman Stadium 10th Anniversary rally towel, sponsored by Coca-Cola.

Sept. 28 vs. USF – Hall of Fame
The seven members of the 2024 Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame Class will be honored throughout the game, and the first 2,500 fans will receive a throwback mini football helmet, sponsored by Children's Hospital New Orleans.

Oct. 19 vs. Rice – Military Appreciation
Active duty military and veterans can get free tickets to the game through VetTix while supplies last. Fans can provide additional free tickets to military, and the first 4,000 fans will receive a camo Green Wave hat, sponsored by Standard Mortgage.

Nov. 9 vs. Temple – Homecoming
Fans are encouraged to wear green to match the team since this will be a Greenout game, and the first 10,000 fans at the game will receive a set of green thundersticks, sponsored by Terminix.

Nov. 28 vs. Memphis – Senior Night/Thanksgiving
Celebrate Thanksgiving at Yulman Stadium this year as Tulane Football will honor its senior class prior to kickoff with an on-field ceremony featuring head coach Jon Sumrall and the families of each Green Wave senior.

PARKING & SHUTTLES
A few parking updates are available this year for Green Wave gameday.  The St. Rita lot is not available this year due to construction, therefore a complimentary shuttle to campus has been added to the Ursuline Academy lot to accommodate this change.  A reminder, there is no day-of-game drive-up parking on Tulane's campus on Football gamedays. Fans shouldn't come to campus in a vehicle unless they've pre-purchased a parking permit for one of three on-campus lots: Claiborne Lot, Diboll Garage or Tailgate Village Lot.
Day-of-game drive-up parking is available off-campus at the Loyola Garage or Ursuline Academy. Please note that all lots are cashless.

An on-campus shuttle is available with stops at the following locations: Claiborne Lot, Wilson Center Ticket Office, Diboll Garage and Tailgate Village Lot.

Parking lots and shuttles will begin five hours prior to kick-off for most games.  Note times for the Uptown Kickoff against Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday, Aug. 29 are 3:00 p.m. for the on-campus lots while the off-campus lots of Ursuline & Loyola will open at 4:00 p.m. Tailgating will open at 3:00 p.m.

GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE
Fans can enjoy new viewing options in stadium.  The fixed-digit scoreboard at the northeast corner of the stadium has been replaced with a fully-digital videoboard capable of displaying live video.

Our partners at AT&T have upgraded their distributed antenna system throughout the stadium, which will improve the AT&T cellular service on gamedays for their customers.

And fans can flow through the concourse with ease this year with added and revamped wayfinding and directional signage throughout the stadium to improve access throughout the stadium.

The Green Wave has added to its inventory of seatback rentals available on gamedays making the ability for more fans to enjoy a comfy seat while they cheer on the Green Wave.

MERCHANDISE
Merchandise sales will be cashless and are located at the main Barnes and Noble bookstore in the LBC, at the trailer location on Drill Rd. at Tailgate, at the trailer location at the stadium in Party on the Plaza and at the kiosk in the Jill H. & Avram A. Glazer Family Club of the stadium. Many new, exiting brands and offerings are available for the 2024 season.

IMPROVED TULANE ATHLETICS APP
Tulane Athletics App have improved the fan experience and made mobile ticketing more accessible than ever! Green Wave fans can easily access, transfer, and sell their tickets right from their mobile phone. The Tulane Athletics app is available for free on Apple devices via the App Store and on Android devices through Google Play by searching for 'Tulane Athletics.' Your mobile phone is the primary method for accessing tickets, and the Tulane Athletics App serves as the best way to prepare yourself for every Tulane game day.

REMINDERS
Metal detection will be in place at all stadium entrances. Please note that all flags, banners, signs, poles, etc. remain prohibited at all Tulane University events, including Tulane Athletics events and Tulane Football gamedays. For a full list of prohibited items, click here. There'll be no bag check/storage location on campus on Tulane Football gamedays in 2024.

All concessions and merchandise points-of-sale on Tulane's campus remain cashless. There'll be no cash-to-card machine at Yulman Stadium.

STADIUM ENTRY
Please arrive early to avoid congestion and anticipated large crowds during the 2024 season. All stadium entry gates open 90 minutes prior to kick-off for all games.

Jill H. & Avram A. Glazer Family Club ticket holders must enter the stadium in the lobby of the Hertz Center.

SEATGEEK
Tulane Athletics is proud to continue to partner with SeatGeek for the 2024-25 athletics season!
