
Swimming & Diving Chosen for Fourth in 2024-25 AAC Preseason Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming and diving team was recently chosen for fourth in the 2024-25 American Athletic Conference (AAC) Preseason Poll.
The Green Wave, under the direction of head coach Amanda Caldwell, picked up 12 points to tie for fourth place.

The team starts the season with a home dual meet against Vanderbilt on Friday, Sept. 27, at noon. The squad has a total of three home meets this season at the Reily Student Recreation Center (Jan. 25 vs. Little Rock and Feb. 1 vs. West Florida). The program will also travel to regular season competitions in Virginia (Lynchburg - Oct. 18-19), Texas (Houston - Nov. 1-2), Ohio (Cleveland - Nov. 21-23), North Carolina (Greensboro - Dec. 4-7), Florida (Miami - Dec. 15), Florida (Ft. Myers – Dec. 19) and Florida (Miami – Jan. 4). The 2025 AAC Championships are in Dallas, Texas from Feb. 19-22. The NCAA Zone D Championships are from March 9-12, the NIC Championships are in Ocala, Florida from March 12-15 and the NCAA Championships are from March 19-22 in Federal Way, WA.
Tulane's swimming program had an outstanding 2023-24 season that resulted in 64 lifetime bests, 31 all-time top-10 school marks, four school records, an AAC individual title, an AAC Freshman of the Year Award, 11 National Invite Championship Qualifiers, a Zone Diver Qualifier and an NCAA qualifier. The program is returning 13 swimmer and divers from last season and is bringing in a newcomer class of 11 for Coach Caldwell's third season in charge of the program. Tulane placed sixth at the 2024 AAC Championships with 379 points.
