Comments from Diana Badalyan
I was initially drawn to Tulane University because I believe it offers the perfect blend of excellent academics and a competitive athletic environment, where I can continue to develop my tennis skills. Coming from Australia, I was also looking for warm weather, and Tulane's location in New Orleans was ideal. Throughout my recruitment process, Maru and Assistant Coach Keri Wong played a significant role in my decision. They were incredibly welcoming, informative, and kind - embodying the qualities I was seeking in coaches to mentor me over the next four years. In researching New Orleans and Tulane, I was captivated by its rich history, strong academic reputation, and vibrant community, making it the perfect place for my academic and athletic growth.
