The 11th edition of THE CURRENT is set to be recorded on this Wednesday at New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company (4141 St. Charles Ave. in Uptown) and hosted by the Voice of the Green Wave, Corey Gloor. Each week, head football coach Jon Sumrall will recap the Wave's last outing and get fans set for the matchup ahead. Select Green Wave football student-athletes swing by, giving fans a chance to hear from and interact with those who take the field for the Olive and Blue. And, special guests from around Green Wave athletics join the show every week, featuring coaches and student-athletes from across campus and providing fans unprecedented access to all sixteen Tulane athletics programs.
Fans attending live recordings of 'The Current, presented by Bryan Subaru, LIVE from New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company' will be able to meet that week's guests and submit questions to be asked during each taping. Plus, fans will have the chance to walk away with exclusive Tulane giveaways, including memorabilia and game tickets.
Following each week's taping, 'The Current' will air on 106.7 The Ticket, the flagship home of Tulane football and men's basketball, bringing a Tulane Athletics show back to the radio for the first time since 2020. Then, each week's episode will be available on-demand later in the week on most podcast platforms, including Apple, Spotify and the Varsity Network app.
