Tulane Women’s Tennis Opens Play at the AAC Championship on Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane women's tennis will hit the court in Memphis, Tennessee, on Thursday afternoon to compete for the American Athletic Conference Championship. The four-day, tournament will be hosted at the Leftwich Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Memphis.

The Green Wave earned the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 10 seed North Texas at 3:00pm CT on Thursday, April 17. A win versus the Mean Green on Thursday would match the Green Wave against the No. 2 seed Rice Owls on Friday who earned a first-round bye.

The women's championship begins Thursday, April 17, and continues through the April 20 final. The winner of the women's championship will earn The American's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships.
