
Swimming and Diving Named A CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming and diving team was recently recognized as a team for outstanding work in the classroom during the 2025 spring semester by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The program saw the 22 members of the squad put up a 3.69 fall GPA for head coach Amanda Caldwell to earn Scholar All-America Team honors by the CSCAA. In order to earn the national recognition, the team needed a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and higher for the semester.
Tulane was one of 763 teams from 432 institutions that were recognized nationally in the spring by CSCAA.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the outstanding achievements, stating, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
The program finished the 2024-25 season with 54 top 10 school marks including 10 school records. The team also won six events, had 28 overall all-conference marks, a placing of third overall at the league championship meet plus saw Head Coach Amanda Caldwell along with her staff being named the AAC's Coach Staff of the Year. The program also had 10 qualify to participate in the National Championship Invitational this season, three divers that earned bids to the Zone D Diving Championship and had four swimmers named to the Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators.
