
Tulane Finishes Third at 2026 Rose Bowl Regatta

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Tulane University closed its fall schedule by beginning the year 2026 with a third-place finish in the Rose Bowl Regatta hosted by the United States Sailing Center and the USC sailing team. Racing for the regatta was held in the Long Beach Harbor with six rotations being completed across two days of competition.

The Green Wave placed third overall in the field of 24 teams in the regatta. Across the two competing divisions Tulane finished with 80 total points in 12 total races.

The Wave was paced by the pairing of Tate Christopher with Taylor Bartell from the A Division. Christopher and Bartell teamed up to finish third in their division with a total of 32 points across six races.

Over in the B Division, the duo of Oakley Cunningham and Jonah Wozniak ended the regatta with 48 total points through six rotations to land seventh in the division.

With the fall campaign in the books, the spring 2026 schedule for Tulane sailing will be the next announcement for the program in the coming weeks.
