NEW ORLEANS – Tulane's Natalia Fantini refused to be denied, yet again, at her No. 6 singles position, clinching the home team's second win in three days with another three-set triumph.

Fantini, a native of Merida, Mexico, emerged victorious over South Florida's Amelie Drukerova 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 to clinch a 4-1 win for the Green Wave on Sunday at Goldring Tennis Center.

Tulane (5-5) is now 2-0 at its new facility following Friday's 4-3 win over UTSA, which Fantini also salted away with a marathon triumph.

After the Bulls (3-5) won the doubles point, Tulane also got singles wins from Campbell Ricci at No. 1, Leigh Van Zyl at No. 3 and Natalia Perez at No. 4.

Tulane will play another home match on Thursday when Southern visits for a 1 p.m. match at Goldring Tennis Center. The Jaguars are 0-3 on the season.
