Green Wave Earns Bids to ICSA Team Race National Championships

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing team has earned automatic bids as the SEISA conference champions to the 2026 ICSA Open and Women's Team Race National Championships. The Green Wave will host both championships on Lake Pontchartrain from April 23-27.
The Wave women's team will be one of 12 teams competing in the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship. Tulane was one of six teams to earn the automatic qualifier for the championship and the only team from the SEISA conference to land a bid. The Green Wave finished sixth in the ICSA Women's Team Race Championships last season.
The Tulane open team will be one of 16 teams represented in the ICSA Open Team Race National Championship. The Green Wave again was the only team from the SEISA conference to earn a bid to the championship as one of the six teams to earn an automatic qualifier. Tulane finished eighth in the ICSA Open Team Race Championship a season ago.
The Green Wave will host the ICSA Team Race Championships on Lake Pontchartrain. Competition will start with the open championship from April 23-25 followed by the women's championship from April 26-27.
