Tulane Selected as No. 14 Seed for Beach Volleyball NCAA Tournament

NEW ORLEANS – The 16-team field for the 2026 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship was announced this afternoon by the NCAA Beach Volleyball Committee with Tulane tabbed as the No. 14 seed in the event. The Green Wave won the Conference USA championship yesterday to secure the league's automatic berth into the field. Tulane is matched up with No. 3 seed UCLA.

Tulane is 26-13 on the season and making its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The event is held in Gulf Shores, Alabama and will feature a 16-team single-elimination bracket. As the No. 14 seed, Tulane is matching up against No. 3 UCLA in the first round at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1. The tournament continues until the championship dual on Sunday, May 3.

The Wave rolled through the CUSA Championship, going an unblemished 4-0 across the three days of competition. The tournament culminated with Tulane, the No. 5 seed, facing top-seeded Florida Atlantic for the title in a second-straight season. This time, the Wave emerged victorious with a 3-0 sweep of the Owls. Molly Trodd and Skylar Ensign were named the CUSA Pair of the Tournament.
