
Tulane Places Ninth at Open Fleet Race National Championship

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Tulane University sailing finished the 2026 campaign by placing ninth out of 18 teams in the ICSA Open Fleet Race National Championship at SkyBeach Resort on Friday. The Green Wave ended the championship regatta with a total score of 242 through the full 14 rotations.

The Wave was led in the championship by its A Division sailors which finished fifth in their division. Skipper Hamilton Barclay teamed with crew Taylor Bartell to post a score of 108 across 14 total races. The duo recorded six finishes in the top five including a race victory in the second rotation of the regatta.

Tulane placed 11th over in the B Division with a total score of 134 over 14 rotations on the water. Skipper Christian Ebbin raced with crew Sabrina Anderson and skipper Kelly Holthus paired with crew Jonah Wozniak in the division for the Green Wave. Ebbin and Anderson posted four finishes in the top five including a pair of second place performances while the top finish for Holthus and Wozniak was fourth in race 11.
