Tulane Bowling Earns NTCA All-Academic Team Award; Four Wave Bowlers Recognized

NEW ORLEANS – The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) has announced its annual NTCA All-Academic awards with the Green Wave recognized as a team alongside four individual honorees. Tulane was one of 60 teams nationally to earn recognition for success in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Individually, four Tulanians secured NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team status: Emma Fetterman, Emma Figert, Linnea Holcomb, and Sarah Rubi.

To be recognized, programs must have a minimum of a 3.2 team GPA for the scholastic year. Individuals must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 for the school year. Tulane's team GPA for the 2025-26 season was a 3.394.

Honored individually for the Wave were Emma Fetterman, Emma Figert, Linnea Holcomb, and Sarah Rubi. This is Holcomb's first academic honor of the campaign. Fetterman, Figert, and Rubi all secured CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll earlier this season with Fetterman and Rubi adding the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal. Rubi also secured a spot on the CUSA All-Academic Team and a CSC Academic All-District nod.

Tulane finished the season ranked No. 18 in the NTCA coaches poll. This comes after the program knocked off last season's national champion, Youngstown State, in the CUSA Championships at Colonial Lanes. The Green Wave also qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships with Mia Stolakis notching a pair of All-America honors for both the NTCA and NCBCA.
