NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane Football season is beginning in just nine days, bringing exciting and new gameday experiences for Green Wave fans this fall at Yulman Stadium. The 2026 season will feature a mix of familiar favorites and fresh elements to enhance the game-day atmosphere.

Giveaways and Promotions
There are several premium giveaways scheduled this season to thank fans for their support of Green Wave Football.
Sept. 12 vs. South Alabama – Mardi Gras Uptown Kickoff
It'll be Mardi Gras in Yulman Stadium as the Green Wave wear their King of Mardi Gras City Edition uniforms. Fans are encouraged to wear their Mardi Gras gear and celebrate like they're on the parade route during Carnival season. The first 10,000 fans will get special beads, and the first 5,000 fans will get a City Edition jersey koozie, courtesy of American Safety. There will be a brass band in the plaza pregame, photo opportunities, throws throughout the game, Mardi Gras fan contests, and more!
Sept. 26 vs. Southern Miss – Hall of Fame
The Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be honored throughout the game, and the first 2,500 fans will receive a replica of the old Tulane Stadium in honor of the 100th anniversary of the first game played at the historic stadium in 1926.
Oct. 16 vs. Memphis – Light it Uptown
We're going to Light it Uptown on Friday night as the first 1,500 students will get light-up glasses, and there will be drone shows at halftime and throughout the game.
Oct. 24 vs. UTSA – Military Appreciation
A limited number of free tickets will be provided to active duty military and veterans through VetTix while supplies last, and the first 2,000 fans will receive a camo Green Wave hat, sponsored by LCMC health.
Nov. 7 vs. Tulsa – Homecoming
Fans are encouraged to wear green, and the first 7,500 fans at the game will receive a green towel, sponsored by Capital One.
Nov. 21 vs. North Texas – Senior Day
Tulane Football will honor its senior class prior to kickoff with an on-field ceremony featuring head coach Will Hall and the families of each Green Wave seniors. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Tulane scarf, sponsored by Paretti, and the first 2,000 fans will get an America 250 commemorative doubloon, courtesy of the Louisiana America 250 Commission.

Round Up for the Wave
Tulane Athletics and Aramark have partnered to launch "Round Up for the Wave" during the 2026-27 athletics season, giving fans a simple way to support Green Wave student-athletes. At concession stands, fans can choose to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with all proceeds benefiting the Green Wave Club. The initiative strengthens the connection between fans and Tulane Athletics while providing direct support for student-athletes' academic and athletic success.
Gameday Experience
Tulane has partnered with Formetco, Inc. and RCF to complete a full-stadium audio system replacement and enhancement ahead of the upcoming 2026 season. Listening to fan feedback, enhancements include a newly-designed speaker system specific to Yulman Stadium, which will be housed above the James W. Wilson Press Center, as well as added audio capabilities on Barney Mintz Field and the team tunnel for Tulane Football to improve the team runout experience. The new sound system will better disperse sound throughout the stadium while monitoring levels for surrounding seats and areas. The department will continue to analyze the audio proficiency as well as feedback throughout the season to provide the best overall experience in the stadium for all fans.
Tulane has also partnered with Daktronics, Inc. to complete a replacement of the main videoboard on the south end of Yulman Stadium. The new board features 10 mm pixelation, which represents a 50 percent clearer picture for fans to relive every replay throughout the season while cheering on the Wave.
Premium Area Enhancements
With the success of the implementation of the Uptown Terrace for the 2025 season, Tulane has added The Neutral Ground for 2026. Located just above the wall of the field in the north end zone, the views from The Neutral Ground are unmatched anywhere else in college football. Each Neutral Ground loge box seats a minimum of five guests and includes premium amenities, including: dedicated soft seating lounge space, shade coverage, televisions and in-seat food service for purchase. Multiple aesthetic enhancements have been made to the Jill H. and Avram A. Glazer Family Club of Yulman Stadium. In addition to replacing the carpet throughout the club, the furniture has been refreshed to include the creation of new sit-down lounge areas and dining spaces strategically located throughout the club. Additional branding enhancements have also been made in the club this offseason to honor Tulane traditions
Stadium Additions
This season marks the 100-year anniversary of the first game played at Tulane Stadium, and the Green Wave has honored it by adding a recognition on the Westfeldt Terrace concourse near Section 206. This area now features a photograph of Tulane Stadium taken on October 23, 1926, during the Green Wave's first game against Auburn, as well as an original bleacher seat from the stadium.
Tulane has worked with multiple graphics vendors to enhance stadium wayfinding ahead of the upcoming season. Additional aesthetic improvements have been made throughout the stadium including recognitions of the 2025 American Conference Championship and last season's College Football Playoff experience.
Food and Beverage – Updated Concessions Map!
Many fan-favorite vendors will return for the upcoming season, including Dat Dog, Blue Oak BBQ, Reginelli's Pizza, Superior Grill, and Plum Street Snowballs. Back again for another season is the $3 beer offer, with expanded locations across four points-of-sale strategically situated throughout the concourse. Several new partners and concepts have been introduced for 2026, such as Guinness, Jus Tacos, Bayou Boba, Luca Eats, The Chill Zone, and Rizzutos. Fans can enjoy beignets and Beignet Hot Honey Chicken Sliders at Uptown Tenders and the Classic Express stand on Westfeldt, as well as a frozen coffee machine at the Uptown Tenders stand. Ice cream novelties will be available at five locations, including the classic stands in sections 209, 120, and 128, along with the Hullabaloo Market and Crescent City Market. Additionally, a Bloody Mary portable stand will be available in section 120, and there will be heightened game day specials at the classic stands in sections 204, 120, and 128.
Tailgating
Back with a new enhanced Berger Family Lawn, tailgate will open four hours prior to kickoff for all home games. Fans can reserve their spots by clicking here, or come early to claim a "Tailgate on Your Own" spot on the lawn. Due to the ongoing Unified Green project, Newcomb Quad will be offline to start the 2026 season. Please note, the previous Tailgate Village Lot parking area between Berger Family Lawn and Newcomb Quad will be offline for the entire 2026 season due to work related to the ongoing project.
Parking Changes
A change for 2026, drive-up andday-of-game ADA parking will be located at Ursuline Academy's State Street Lot. Please note that this lot is only accessible from State Street, which is a change from the "front lot" entrance off Claiborne Avenue, which has been utilized the past few seasons. A shuttle will be provided to-and-from the lot to Yulman Stadium's shuttle hub located at the corner of Claiborne Avenue and Ben Weiner Drive. New Student Ticket Process
New for 2026, students will use their WavePass to enter all home ticketed sporting events. The WavePass is the department's new way of making the student experience more convenient so Tulane students can easily come out to support the Green Wave! Students need to download their WavePass from the Tulane Athletics app by logging in with their Tulane email. Follow the step-by-step instructions to add the WavePass to your mobile wallet and be set for every Tulane Athletics event for the school year.
Reminders
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to all games to expedite entry into campus and Yulman Stadium. All Yulman Stadium entry gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for all games.
Fans with Jill H. & Avram A. Glazer Family Club tickets must enter Yulman Stadium at the Hertz Center entrance on Ben Weiner Drive.
Metal detection remains in-place at all Yulman Stadium entrances for the 2026 season.
The clear bag policy will be in effect for all Tulane Athletics ticketed events including 2026 Football. Non-clear diaper bags with an infant will be allowed following proper inspection.
The prohibited item policy will be strictly enforced at all Tulane Athletics ticketed events including 2026 Football. Flags, signs, banners, etc. remain prohibited for 2025-2026.
