Aug 6, 2026 | Women's Golf
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Women's Golf has hired Britney Yada to its coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season. Yada will serve as the assistant coach for the Green Wave golf program.
"As we continue to build a championship program, bringing in outstanding people remains our top priority," head coach Andrea Kaelin said. "Britney has proven her ability to connect and build relationships with people, demonstrate a deep knowledge of the game, and foster a culture of accountability and competitive excellence. From our first conversation, I knew Britney would be a great addition to the program, and I look forward to what we'll accomplish together! Roll Wave!"
Yada joins the Wave following a distinguished professional playing career spanning more than a decade. A former LPGA and Epson Tour professional, she captured the 2022 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout title on the Epson Tour and qualified for the U.S. Women's Open three times (2018, 2021, 2022).
Â
A native of Hilo, Hawai'i, Yada played collegiate golf at Portland State University, where she earned induction into the Portland State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. In her four seasons at Portland State, she earned All-Big Sky honors every year including three first team selections and won the individual Big Sky Conference Championship as a sophomore in 2011.

Yada brings a passion for player development, recruiting, and mentoring student-athletes as they pursue success both on the course and in the classroom.
