Football’s Start Time and Network Announced for Southern Miss

IRVING, TX – The kickoff time and the network for Tulane football's Sept. 26 home game at Yulman Stadium against Southern Miss (USM) was recently announced by the American Conference.
The Green Wave and the Golden Eagles square off against each other at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, in a game that will also be broadcasted on ESPN+.
Southern Miss leads the series 24-10 all-time against Tulane since the start of the play between the schools in 1979. Tulane has won three of the last four against the Golden Eagles including a 21-3 victory in Hattiesburg, MS during the 2023 campaign. The Green Wave's last home victory over USM was a 31-10 win during the 2002 season.
The Tulane program leads the league in red zone offense (1.000), are second in punt return defense (1.25), third in passing yards per completion (13.42), and are fourth in pass defense (213.5), scoring defense (20.5) and passing efficiency defense (129.11). Dickson Agu leads the conference in fumbles recovered (1) and tackles per game (11.5). Kevin Adams III is second in solo tackles (6.5). William Hudlow is second in punting (45.4). Kadin Semonza is second in yards per passing attempt (8.19). Destyn Hill is fourth in receiving yards (158). Jaylin Lucas is placed fourth in rushing yards (217).
Next, the football team (1-1) is on the road and travels to Manhattan, Kansas to take on Kansas State (2-0) on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. in a game that will be shown on ESPN2.
