Green Wave Sits Tied for 10th After Round One

NORMAN, Okla. - Tulane women's golf sits tied for 10th following the first round of action at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. The Green Wave carded a team score of 285 (+5) on Saturday at the tournament hosted by Oklahoma.

Francesca Pompa led the way for the Green Wave, carding a 1-under 69 with two birdies to sit tied for 21st individually. Sophia Chen followed with a 1-over 71 to sit tied for 35th, while Cristina Albertazzi carded a 2-over 72 to sit tied for 50th. Sophia Macias finished the opening round with a 3-over 73, tying for 59th, and Daniela Montolio Reyes rounded out the Tulane lineup with a 6-over 76, tying for 81st.

UP NEXT
The Green Wave will continue the competition with the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic on Sunday. Due to weather, the second round will begin Sunday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
