Tulane Moves to Ninth Heading Into Final Round

NORMAN, Okla. - Tulane women's golf sits ninth following the second round of play at the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. The Green Wave recorded a team score of 275 (-5) during the second round on Sunday after posting a 285 (+5) in the first on Saturday, giving Tulane a two-round total of 560 (E) at the tournament hosted by Oklahoma.

Sophia Macias carded a 3-under 67 in the second round with four birdies after posting a 3-over 73 with three birdies in the first round. Her two-round total of 140 (E) has her tied in 32nd heading into the final round.

Sophia Chen followed with a 2-under 68 in the second round, recording five birdies. Chen finished the first round with a 1-over 71 and one birdie. She enters the third and final round with a two-round total of 139 (-1), tied for 22nd.

Daniela Montolio Reyes recorded a 6-over 76 with one birdie in the opening round before finishing the second round with a 1-under 69 and three birdies. Reyes enters the final round with a two-round total of 145 (+5), tied for 63rd.

Francesca Pompa posted a 1-over 71 with two birdies in the second round after scoring 1-under 69 with two birdies in the first round. Pompa heads into the final with a two-round total of 140 (E), tied for 32nd.

Cristina Albertazzi carded a 2-over 72 with three birdies in the first round before finishing the second round with a 1-over 71 and two birdies. Albertazzi enters the final round with a two-round total of 143 (+3), tied for 46th.
