National Top 50 quarterback by Scout.com, listed on the Dallas Morning News Top 100, Top 15 by position in Texas by Rivals.com and a Top 30 quarterback by Dave Campbell[apos]s Texas Football Magazine. An All-District 8-5A honoree his final two prep seasons. Passed for 4,513 yards and 32 touchdowns during his career. As a senior, completed 182-of-304 (59.8 percent) passes for 2,007 yards and 12 touchdowns. Connected on 194-of-322 (60.2 percent) passes as a junior for 2,068 yards and 15 scores, and was 63-of-91 for 538 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore. Also lettered four years in basketball and three seasons in track and field. A member of Mu Alpha Theta, 'Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students' and was named second-team Academic All-State.
